Tamers can be an alternate choice to selecting a digimon. You spawn with 1000 health and with a digivice instead of moves. This digivice, when equipped, allows you to "tame" other digimon by clicking on them. This will send a request to the player, and if accepted, both you and the digimon get +5 xp until one dies. It also gives both the ability to teleport to each other when in danger. Being a tamer is generally boring and not something i'd recommend unless you want to be really nice to your friend.
